Is there a membership or sign up fee?
How do I send my packages with 'D'ASH XP Carrier?
Sending packages with ‘D’ASH XP is simple. Follow the steps below for a quick guide:
- Register online at dashxpcarrier.com and get your free USA shipping addresses & unique DASH XP code.
- Shop online using the US address and unique DXP code provided. Upon completion of your purchase, please ensure to log into your account and (prealert)upload your invoice to us.
- Email notification – we will notify you by email:
- When we receive your package at our Miami warehouse.
- When it’s ready for pickup or delivery in Jamaica.
What CRITICAL info is required when sending packages with DASH XP?
After successfully registering with DASH XP, the most critical info is your DXP Code or Mailbox # (it begins with DXP). This appears after your last name in your welcome email upon registering. The DXP code uniquely identifes an owner to a package as two or more customers could have the same name.
Always ensure that the DXP code or the letters “DXP” is place after your last name or in Address line 2 when completing your shipping info on the site of which you will make a purchase.
What happens to packages that donot have the DXP Code or Mailbox number?
Packages that donot bear the DXP code or Mailbox number are classified as Unknown/Bad Address packages. These packages are placed on our unknown listing after which a verification process must be done using the tracking #. Once confirmed to a customer, it will then be retrieved and processed for shipping to Jamaica.
Is there a cost for Unknown/Bad Address packages?
Yes there is a cost – $JMD1000.
How long does it take for packages to arrive in Ja?
Air shipments arriving at our US warehouse Saturdays – Tuesdays by 12pm will be ready for pickup by Saturday of that same week. Those arriving Wednesday – Friday by 12pm should arrive in Jamaica by the next Monday. In general, Air shipments take 3-5 business days to arrive in Jamaica given no delays.
Sea shipments arriving at our US warehouse Monday – Wednesday by 12pm usually arrive in Jamaica the following Tuesday. Those arriving Thursday – Saturday by 12 pm usually arrive in Jamaica 10-12 days later. In general, Sea shipments usually take 7-14days to arrive in Jamaica given no delays.
What are your rates?
Can I consolidate my packages?
Unfortunately we do not consolidate packages at this time.
Do you apply storage charges? What happens to uncollected or unclaimed packages?
Uncollected packages for 6 days or more will incur a daily storage cost of $100 (inclusive of weekends and holidays) per package.
Uncollected packages for 30 days or more will be disposed of to recover all importation costs.
How are Customs charges applied?
Do I have to provide an invoice for my package?
Yes all goods being imported must carry an invoice for ease of clearance and Customs purposes. To have the correct charges applied a proper invoice is recommend.
Can I use 'D'ASH XP credit card to shop online?
Yes. We provide this service for our clients who are unable to make a purchase online. Simply contact our office or send us a what’s app link with the product you want to be purchased. We will give you a quotation, once you approve and make your deposit, we will make the purchase within 24hrs and provide you with such proof of purchase. Voila! Purchase done.
Can I send large packages?
Yes, large packages such as barrels, stove, dryers, washer or any other large items can be shipped. This is where we sea ship these item instead by air.
Does 'D'ASH XP conduct barrel clearance?
Yes we do. Simply ship your barrels to our USA address and we will ship and conduct clearance on behalf of you in Jamaica. Please call our office should you have a barrel you want us to conduct clearance on your behalf.
Is there a fee for overweight packages?
Yes we do. Packages 15lbs or greater will incur an overweight fee of $3500
Does 'D'ASH XP conduct barrel or general Third Party clearance ?
Yes we do. We can conduct clearance for you even if your barrel or shipment wasnt sent with us. Call our office 876-672-4700 or 876-313-3544 to schedule this.
How are charges calculated on packages?
Currently we have a two (2) factor system in place. Our charges are applied based on two (2) factors: (1) Weight of the overall package (that is, the product and its packaging) and (2) Price of the product.
